Teen Package

Minnesota law requires anyone under 18 years of age to attend 30 hours of classroom training before they can take their Knowledge (permit) Test. Students may start classes at age 14 1/2, obtain their Instruction Permit at age 15, and Provisional License at age 16. To be eligible to take the Road Test, students must have had their Instructional Permit for a minimum of six months and have completed 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a licensed instructor.

Safeway's Teen Package includes both 30 hours of classroom training and 6 hours of private behind-the-wheel lessons.

The Package Price for all Safeway classrooms (Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, Maplewood, Shoreview, Stillwater, Woodbury):

        $390 - Full payment is due on the first day of class
 
or use our Payment Plan (totals $400 or $10 more):

        $125 is due on or before the first day of class;
        $125 on or before the last day of class;
        $75 on or before the first behind-the-wheel lesson; and
        $75 on or before the second behind-the-wheel lesson
