Safeway Driving School: Teen Package

Teen Package
Minnesota law requires anyone under 18 years of age to attend 30 hours of classroom training before they can take their permit test. Students may start classes at age 14 1/2, obtain their permit at age 15, and license at age 16. To be eligible to take the road test, students must have had their permit for a minimum of six months and have completed 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a licensed instructor.

Package Price for students beginning before August 31, 2008
(Stillwater, Woodbury, Maplewood Locations)
$375 - Full payment is due on the first day of classroom;
or use our Easy Payment Option ($10 more):
    $125 is due on the first day of classroom;
    $110 on the last day of classroom;
    $75 on the first behind-the-wheel lesson; and
    $75 on the second behind-the-wheel lesson.
     (No payment due on the last behind-the-wheel lesson)

$390 - Full payment is due on the first day of classroom;
or use our Easy Payment Option ($10 more):
    $125 is due on the first day of classroom;
    $125 on the last day of classroom;
    $75 on the first behind-the-wheel lesson; and
    $75 on the second behind-the-wheel lesson.
     (No payment due on the last behind-the-wheel lesson)

     (No payment due on the last behind-the-wheel lesson)
Price increase will not take effect at these locations until January 1, 2009.
